Fully automatic switching
For the Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 and the Pan America 1250 Special, the Dayron® technic set is available. A light sensor handles the switching between daytime running light and position light fully automatically.
Daytime running light — two Dayron® light up at the legal maximum brightness, the low beam is switched off.
Position light — the daytime running light switches to position light as soon as the low beam is activated.
Under Section 17 (2a) of the German Road Traffic Regulations (StVO), daytime running lights may be used instead of the low beam during the day. The position light (marker light) shines parallel to the low beam.

Daytime running lights increase visibility during the day, reducing the risk of collisions with other road users.
