Aspherical mirror lenses significantly reduce the "blind spot".
Racing version, due to the size of the mirror glass not approved in the scope of the StVZO.
Aspherical mirrors can be recognized by the dividing line. Der grössere Teil der Spiegelfläche entspricht dem konvexen Spiegel (verkleinernd), während der äussere Teil des Spiegelglases stärker gekrümmt ist. Im Vergleich zu einem planen Spiegel kann dadurch das Sichtfeld fast verdoppelt werden. Also, objects that disappear in the "blind spot" with a conventional mirror remain visible with an aspherical mirror, even if they are almost at the same height.
